Requirements 2024/2025

Candidates who wish to apply for the Ekiti State Teaching and Non-teaching Jobs must meet the following criteria:

• Interested applicants must be Nigerian citizens.
• Provide proof of Local Government Identification.
• Applicants must not have a previous criminal record.
• Should not have any prior criminal record.
• Possess a Certificate of State of Origin duly signed.
• Must be physically and mentally fit.
• You should provide either a Birth Certificate issued by the National Population Commission or an Affidavit of Age Declaration.
• Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hold Applicants must have a degree from a recognized institution, such as B.Sc, B.Ed, B.A (Ed), HND, OND, or NCE.
• Possess an NYSC Certificate or a letter of exemption for B.Sc and HND holders.
• Must have at least SSCE, NECO, or GCE with credits in no less than five subjects, including Mathematics and English.
• Non-teaching applicants should provide their Primary Six School Leaving Certificate.
• Show strong team spirit and excellent analytical skills.
• All candidates must have a valid means of identification such as a valid driver’s license, National Identification Card, International passport, Voter’s card, or National Identification Number.
• Must Applicants must be open to working in a new environment.
• Interested Applicants must be under 35 years old when applying.
• Possessing basic knowledge in Computer Application will be an added advantage.

How to Apply

To apply:

• Visit the official Ekiti State Teachers recruitment portal at ekitistate.gov.ng/jobs/ and complete the designated application form free of charge.
• Choose between Teaching and Non-Teaching Jobs.
• Provide your details, including full name, permanent address, local government of origin, email/telephone address, date of birth, state of origin, nationality, marital status, academic qualifications, institutions attended, and course of study. Then, submit the application form.
• Print out the confirmation slip.
• Only shortlisted candidates will receive invitations for the next phase of the recruitment exercise.
• There will be a screening process for all shortlisted candidates. The date and time for the Ekiti State Teachers Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be communicated to you via email.
• Failure to report to the screening center within the specified time will be considered as declining the offer.
